Proteans are serpentine outsiders formed from the pure chaos of the Maelstrom in the Outer Sphere. In addition to the usual outsider traits, they possess blindsense, immunity to acid damage, resistance 10 to electricity and sonic damage, supernatural flight, and a constant Freedom of Movement effect. Their chaotic anatomy grants them a 50% chance to ignore precision damage and grants outright immunity to most polymorph effects, and they may grow new sensory organs in six seconds if one is damaged. They may also change their form to any other form at least once a day.
