Fyrneistur

Fyrneistur, sometimes known as simply Fyrneist, is the capital of Gildómar. It is a sprawling mountain-city that extends just as far below the ground as it does across the surface, and is considered to be the ancestral home of dwarves as a species, as their first settlement once they had left their Heartforge of Iskaldhal. It is an incredibly well-guarded city, and indeed, must be - for Gildómar is near constantly at war.
The monumental Memory's Pathway towers over the city, uncrowded by any other structure.
