October Writing Gauntlet

Every time a new challenge has come around this year, I find myself parroting the mantra of use all the stubs, only the stubs and this challenge is no different. After last count (done last week), Isekai has close to 900 stub articles that I would love to whittle down to something more manageable. This means that once again I will be using Spooktober to flesh out some articles that have been waiting a long while to be worked on.   October is also a notoriously busy month for me as shown by my failure to complete Spooktober in past years. Last year, I broke my elbow during the last week of September and was unable to write much due to that but this year, nothing is stopping me from hopefully being successful.  

Goals

While only 13 articles are necessary to receive the badge, I'm hoping to complete at least 20 so I can knock some things off my to do list and prepare for WorldEmber prep in November. If I complete all 31, that will be a minor miracle but also a welcome event.  
Note: I had mentioned in a journal post previously that I was working on our second world of Seireitei in October. While none of my Spooktober prompts will be in Seireitei, I am going to continue working on things there throughout the month as well.

The reign of Nizlek the Black would continue for millennia, but once the Black Dragon disappeared, few trusted that he was truly gone. They refused to reclaim the landscape, treating the abandoned nest as a sort of holy shrine to the great Dragon.

Arcane Dust is the product of the Arcane Geysers which erupt rather frequently across the Cradle of Clay. These geysers are an oddity of the area, only found amongst the rolling hills where the Clay Giants make their home and large creatures roam.

This area gains its name from the large herds of Tante that once called this place home. During the winter, it wasn't uncommon to see spots of brown mixed with the blinding snow as the creatures huddled and grazed, the winds not as harsh down low.

The First Garden is one of the many endless Celestial Realms, serving as home to all manner of flora and fauna that can be found on the surface of Isekai. Here, these creatures are free from the influence of people, living out the life cycle of the world.

Dire Wolves are considered the fiercest predator of the northern areas of Vóreios. Possibly influenced by the magic of the Elven Forest, these creatures have grown larger than standard wolves and have no predators to speak of.

Sprite Moss

Sprite Moss, also referred to as Fey Moss or by other names, is a common ground cover found near the banks of the Wilderrun River and throughout other areas of the Fairy King's Wood. Once a common moss, this moss was changed by the flow of magic.

The Skeletal Pine, also known as the Bone Pine, is a dead and petrified tree that was once one of the vibrant Deeproot Pines that cover the entirety of the Timbers of the Furnace. These trees are most commonly found in the Dead Sea of the Timbers.

Shattered Ice gains its name from the large ice floes that rage down the rapids from the northern sea, unhindered by the changes in landscape and temperature as it flows towards the Spine and the vast western sea.

The Necropolis is one of the many endless Celestial Realms, serving as the home of the God of Gravestones and as the true afterlife of Isekai. Here, all those that have once lived and died are memorialized in one way or another.

Necromancy is just one type of arcane art that is part of the cycle of life and death. While not a necessary part, many of its users see it as such, a way to learn more about the world from the sources, but only if their magic is powerful enough.
