PDRMN Reserve Fleet
More a collection of ships and engineers than a true fleet, this is where ships spend around 5 martian years after their 15-20 martian year service life. They are kept operational but powered down for this period of time, mostly situated at Base Aleph, and are in theory used as hot spares. In the event of war they would be pressed into service. Because of this, the Reserve Fleet is the smallest overall fleet, mostly structured around an engineering corp providing repairs and refitting the ships.
This is not the PDRMN Reserves, which is a force of people who have retired from the navy after service, and are available to be called up in event of war, or for some specialized knowledge. However, they are commanded by the same Vice-Admiral.

Composition
Structure
The fleet is commanded by a PDRMN Rear Admiral, under the purview of the Reserve Commander. The force itself is split into 24 person squads who service a set batch of ships, typically one battleship, 6 cruisers or 42 frigates, or some combination. They are responsible for the upkeep of those ships, and are commanded by typically a Lieutenant, though battleship crews typically get a Lieutenant-Commander.
Training
This is very often used as an initiation into the Engineering Corps, along with the PDRMN Logistics Support Fleet. It lets new engineers tinker around with PDRMN systems while they are not in active use, and cannot damage anyone.

This is a popular first choice of new Engineering recruits, as it is close to Mars, and you get to play with PDRMN stuff. As such, they only take the best of the PDRMN Engineering Corp.
