PDRMN Asteroid Fleet

A fleet on constant patrol of the Asteroid belt, visiting Asteroid Communities, checks in on strategic assets and generally just keeps an eye out. It is split into a few task forces that operate in large chunks of the Belt, typically each task force gets around a sixth of the belt, with the sixth closest to mars handled by home fleet and that closest to opposition handled by them. However, as everything in the belt is moving, these boundaries are fluid and change over the course of a duty rotation.

Split into 4 task forces, one per battleship that patrol separate parts if the AB.

Logistics

Logistical Support

Supported with shipments of He³ and additional materiel from Logistical Bases 2.6 AU from sol at regular intervals around the AB. Each has supplies for 2 martian years of operation for 2 task forces, and is resupplied with materiel from Mars and He³ direct from Saturn. Each Logistical Base has a few automated gas tankers that can ship over fuel if the mission requires it, but normally ships will dock with it once every few months for resupply.

Auxilia

The Asteroid Fleet can theoretically call for assistance from the Client State communities in the Asteroid Belt, but this would only be called for in dire circumstances.

Recruitment

This is typically staffed by more junior crew members, and visiting Asteroid Communities is typically seen as an undesirable job.

Formed to keep Martian Asteroid Belt mining colonies protected from a recent scourge of pirates intercepting shipments.
