Kharnos
The seat of power for the Temple of Nine on Irindor.
Demographics
Primarily Dwarves and Efryn, with a minor Gnome population
Government
Kharnos is under the authority of cland Helym, but with such large swaths of abandoned city and manufactories between the two cities much of the government is controlled by the Nine.
Defences
Kharnos has a large number of Infernal engines and Efryn mercenaries to support the dwindling clan resources.
Industry & Trade
Kharnos deals mostly in gold and Iron, with some salt and fungus farms. Much of the city is supported through uts Stygian Gate
Infrastructure
Originally a portion of Wurdgrym, it shares many of the same princible assets, steam mills, large vrisges and facotires.
Districts
With less staff to man the factories, much of the old infrastructure has been repurposed to service and accommodate the Templd of Nine.

Kharnos was originally an expansion if Wurdgrym to secure a new line of gold and iron.
History
Kharnos was initially established as an outpost to secure new minerals for Wurdgrym. With even less access to fresh water than its parent city, tubnels and bridges were quicklt established to bring relief and factories along the lava flow followed. After the Clan Wars Kharnos maintained its Stygian Gate at great cost to the Efryn that inhabit the city.
Points of interest
The Stygian Gate offers those with enough influence among the Temple of Nine to travel ibto Baathos. And allows for infernal reinforcements at great number.
Tourism
As the uboffical holt city of Asmodeus many who pledge themselves to the Nine will make their way to Kharnos in due time.
Architecture
While the inital buildings are similar to Wurdgryms steam and mystrium pipe and stone designs, over tge centuri3s more influence from the efryn and the Nine have made their way into newer buildings.
Geography
Kharnos is located along a grand cavern overlooking a deep lava flow below the Okd Kingdom. Ot isn't as Humid as Wurdgrym itself.
Natural Resources
Far below the cavern Kharnos overlooks is a section of the Old Kingdom providing a dangerous source of Mythril if an excavation is made. Otherwise Iron and Gold are their primary resources
