Deities
A full table of all deities is available at the following link: Table of Deities
Mortals have always sought power beyond themselves—whether for guidance, strength, or salvation. From benevolent gods who offer light and protection to sinister beings who weave dark bargains, the divine and the profane alike answer those who call upon them. Faith fuels this bond, shaping miracles, forging pacts, and granting mortals a sliver of something greater. Yet, with countless deities across all moral spectrums, the path one walks is rarely simple—only the chosen, the faithful, and the desperate dare to tread it.
Tiers of Divinity
Not all gods are equal, though most mortals fail to grasp the distinction. To them, a legendary wizard who bends reality with a single spell may seem just as much a god as the one worshiped in their local temple. Yet, scholars who seek to chronicle the divine have categorized these beings into distinct tiers, forming a hierarchy that reflects mortal understanding of the gods' relative strength and influence. From strongest to weakest, they are:
Elder Gods
Beings of primordial and cosmic significance, the Elder Gods are the strongest known deities in the Multiverse. Often ancient beyond reckoning, they exist beyond the comprehension of mortals and even most deities. Their actions shape the fundamental laws of existence, and few beings can truly challenge them.High Gods
The High Gods make up the core deities of the world—beings of immense power who govern vast aspects of reality. They are actively worshiped and intervene in mortal affairs, either directly or through their agents.Lesser Gods
These beings are still immensely powerful by mortal standards, but not on the level of High Gods. They tend to have more focused domains and are often tied to specific races, cultures, or aspects of life.Nascents
Nascents are beings of extraordinary power who may rival some gods in strength, but are not true deities themselves. They might be ascended mortals, titanic planar beings, or cosmic rulers of their own domains.Aspects & Avatars
When necessary, the gods are known to create manifestations of themselves, known as aspects or avatars, which are used to interact with the mortal world or other powerful beings without risking their true form.
The following tiers exist outside the established hierarchy, their exact placement impossible to define. Their strength may surpass or fall below any of the previously listed tiers, varying on a case-by-case basis.
Faiths & Philosophies
While some worship individual deities, others place their faith in specific ideals or concepts. These beliefs are not centered around deities but instead reflect personal philosophies or guiding principles that shape an individual's worldview.Unknown
The power and status of these beings in relation to others remain uncertain. Without sufficient information, their placement within a specific tier cannot be definitively determined.
Pantheons
Iolcus draws the interest and intervention of many deities. These gods and goddesses are often grouped by their followers' region or race, though their power is rarely limited to such demographics. Others have faded from relevance, dwelling in silence, and even still a handful have perished, forever lost.

Fey Monarchs
The Fey Monarchs are the enigmatic sovereigns of Iomlán, each a living embodiment of its untamed magic and boundless whimsy. Neither chosen by blood nor bound by law, they ascend through means known only to Damona, the Mother of All Fey. Some rise through cunning, others through beauty, power, or sheer caprice. Each Monarch rules a domain shaped by their nature, their influence over the Tane warping the land itself. Though they hold no allegiance to one another, their rivalries and alliances weave a tapestry of intrigue, wonder, and chaos.Members

Outer Gods
The Outer Gods are a pantheon of utterly alien, unfathomably ancient, poorly understood deities that often exist outside of reality itself. These unfathomable entities lurk within the Great Beyond—the vast void between the stars on Materia—and dwarf other deities just as those deities dwarf ordinary mortals. To worship these gods is to acknowledge a cold truth: the universe has no meaning. All the things mortal civilizations hold dear—virtues, deities, great works— are things those mortals have invented to distract them from their own insignificance. History is a comforting lie told because mortals are afraid of the dark. The universe is immeasurably vast, beyond understanding, and cares nothing for life. Ultimately, every creature is alone, unmourned, and unloved. And because life has no meaning or purpose, self-indulgence and nihilism are the only rational responses.Members

Spawnlords
The Spawnlords are the supreme tyrants of the demonic horde, monstrous entities of unfathomable cruelty and boundless ambition. Each rules a twisted legion shaped by their own vile nature, reigning over hordes of lesser fiends in an endless wave of consumption. Chaos and corruption are their essence, and their influence seeps into the mortal world through profane cults, blood-soaked pacts, and whispered temptations. To speak a Spawnlord’s name is to invite their gaze—to serve them is to become a vessel for their insatiable hunger.Members

Vicars of the Nine
Deep within Galzahad’s smoldering dominion, the Nine Infernal Seats stand as thrones of absolute power. Each is claimed by a Vicar of the Nine—fiends and tyrants of terrible might whose cruelty has been forged in the crucible of devil society. These seats are not merely symbols of authority; they are conduits of Galzahad’s searing essence, binding their occupants to the will of the devil race. Some reign as warlords, others as schemers, yet all are locked in endless betrayal and strife. To sit upon one of the Nine is to wield unparalleled power—and to invite inevitable ruin.Members
