In the smog-choked foundries of Galzahad, where rivers of molten iron stoke the march of infernal industry, Vel'koz, the Vicar of Gears, reigns. More machine than devil, he is consumed with achieving perfection through mechanization. To him, flesh is a fragile, fleeting vessel, and the path to true power lies in replacing it with infernal machinery. All living beings, in his eyes, are "works in progress," destined to be improved through mechanical transformation. The removal of organic matter in favor of pure metal is the ultimate gift, and he relentlessly seeks to replace all with gears and machines, striving to elevate existence to a higher state of perfection. To Vel'koz, metal is the apex—unyielding, eternal, and pure. Flesh falters and rebels, but steel always obeys.

Physical Description

Vel'koz has stripped himself of weakness, encasing what little organic matter remains in a labyrinth of infernal steel. He is a towering brute, a dark amalgamation of fiendish machinery and twisted flesh. His face is a mere suggestion of features—bladed lines and glowing red lenses where eyes once were—forming a face as much a symbol of fear as it is a reminder of the irreversibility of his obsession.
Vel'koz's left arm is an enormous creation of infernal engineering—a hybrid of a massive mechanical claw and a perfectly forged industrial manipulator. The fingers of this "hand" can shift from being precise tools, capable of delicate work on a minute scale, to powerful weapons that can crush foes with ease.
