Castle Town
Demographics
Within the walls of Castle Town reside the richer of the Hylians, those with the money or the noble blood required to get an apartment there. The poorer demographics live outside the walls in the River District or in other homes south-west of the wall.
Government
Castle Town is run by Rainald, Mayor of Castle Town, who collects taxes and allocates those funds as he sees fit. He's also the head of the Castle Guard.
Defences
Walls surround the innermost part of Castle Town, where Castle Guard are stationed and patrol.
Industry & Trade
The Festivan Carnival generates a fair amount of tourist trade, turning the abandoned castle into a sort of haunted house tourist trap.
Infrastructure
There are many high-end shops in Castle Town Square, as well as an inn, a bar, and the The Rito Post Office. Outside the walls there are more lower-end shops and taverns, as well as stables here and there. The Zora of Castle Town use the river that flows to Lake Hylia as a sort of a highway, accommodating travelers and trade alike. The road that leads south of Castle Town is a direct route to Lon Lon City, Hyrule's central hub for trade.
Guilds and Factions
The Twili of Festivan mostly work at the Carnival there under their leader, Nock .
