Personal history
He moved into the Light with his parents as a young child. They moved to Castle Town, searching for work, but couldn't find any steady pay. His parents were wrongly convicted of theft when he was young, and were sent to prison to rot, leaving him on the streets as a teen. (Not that they had been doing very well before, either.) He once loved a Shiekah woman, his daughter, Shae's, mother, but she's gone now. He's taken many lovers since then, but none have stuck. Now, he runs the Carnival of Festivan, originally just to try to make some money for himself and his daugther, but now to serve as a celebration of Twili culture as well as a bit of a tourist trap surrounding the history of Castle Town.

History
Nock only came to Rainald's attention once the Carnival started attracting more business and customers. Rainald thought that the Carnival was quaint, and ended up gracing it with his presence every so often. Over time, however, the Steward's visits became more and more regular as he discovered an affinity for gambling. Recently, however, the relationship has turned sour as Rainald has accused Nock of thievery and murder.
Wealth & Financial state
He makes all of his money from the Carnival- mostly from the gambling table, but his most steady income comes from the carnival games he runs and the booth fee he charges vendors (a fair price, of course.) Whatever he doesn't need for himself, he gives to those in need, namely the poor twili living in the shadows of Castle Town and the poor Zoras in the River District.
