General Summary

The party looks upon the pool. as the giant snake roils forth from the splash the small snake created when it entered. The draw arms and battle this foe.

Cass is certified by this basilisk

They batter and eventually defeat the beast

Essa frees Cass from turning to stone

There are pillars in the room that have numerals on them

By turning their keys in the corresponding pillar causes the waters of the pool in the center of the room to change.

They see it as a path to the top of the tower and the demon.

They rest, recharging before sending

A daemon with beady eyes and a large maw turns to them. Spikes erupt from his back and form a swirling mobile around it

They fight the creature, destroying the spears to rob it of its defense

Merrit destroys a specimen tank, spilling a massive dead snake onto the floor

Smaller scorpion demon spawn arrives from fissure-like portals

They battle on until the spear-like weapons are expended and then kill the demon

After they clean up the remaining demon spawn, the portals close, and a red flash consumes the room

Upon waking, the party is treated; the Magus has returned to retake his tower and reward the party

They return with Essa to Iris for a debriefing.
