SE07 : EP05 - A Simple Honey Run - Part V

General Summary

They gather up the gear of the fallen ambush party.

They find a strange liquid in a cask, and Airzen and Pryce believe it to be a powerful potion.

Taking charge of the horses, they continue on

As they travel all day, some parties slip into naps. Merrit speaks in her sleep with a voice different from her own

They camp for the night; Cass and Nakul 1st watch,  Mobahn and Ehnakis 2nd

Mwrrit has a voice tell them, "to enter to find one of the twenty-two."

As they travel on the second day, they arrive at a palisade that would back verdant wood. A gossamer shimmer rises from it, some type of magical barrier. They follow it to a waterway that leads down to a town. 

Fishermen and other villagers are seen as they approach a gate

They are recognized as adventurers and are given lengths of white cloth to wear as they seek "The treasure in the forest."

They find a number of people milling around the town inside the protected area. Some wear black clothes like the party

They learn the red beacon did, in fact, originate here. They also talk about the treasure that adventurers tend to go after, but most never come back from seeking it.

They set up for the night at an inn called Pendleton's 

They spend the night entertaining themselves and gathering info
