SE07 : EP06 - A Simple Honey Run - Part VI

General Summary

The party sets off in the morning to enter the forest like so many adventurers have braved.

They pay 10gp for each party member and enter this inner forest

They notice white sashes tied off to the branches of the trees; Cass climbs a tree and sees there a multitude of them in no pattern

They poke around and find a door. Underneath is a Wizard dressed in crimson. He identifies himself as Cassius, Magus of the Clay

He explains that his experiences may have been indirectly responsible for the splitting of Yith. He has an issue getting back to his device and tower due to a demon. This demon may be trying to rend open a portal. Suddenly, his mouth disappears, and his face is just a flat stretch of skin under his nose for a moment. He regains his mouth and curses a Magus of the Void. This leads to an explanation that there are some 22 Magus, fulfilling the portent that Merrit had.

They follow him to a door with a knob in the middle. It leads to a stone hallway

To one side is a door; it is magically sealed after many attempts to pick it. 

The halls are trapped and full of hazards.
