A council member of the DPO is one of the seven elected leaders that runs as both the war council and the works council. While they remain on the All-Mother, they work tireless to end the Cosmos War that began plauging the All-Mother in the year 2186. Known for having one of the hardest jobs available in the world, a council member is also an important political figure that has control over the DPO whenever the DPO President is busy with another task. This can only happen during times of crisis with the Cosmos War.

Duties

The council generally functions as a parliamentary with proposing bills, holding votes, and passing laws to help govern the DPO. A council member has control over what laws are to be created or even implement the laws.

Responsibilities

They are given almost total administrative authority and a clear, wide range of political independence, with the power to appoint and dismiss department heads without council approval and little or no public input. In this system, council members prepare and administer the DPO budget, although that budget often must be approved by the entire council. Abuses of this form led to the development of the council member form of local government and its adoption widely throughout the DPO.
Only the leaders of each of the All-Mother's countries, kingdoms, empires, etc. know about the DPO They are considered beneath the DPCM and at the end of their term, their memories are wiped to help preserve the safety of the DPO If any of the current leaders reveal sensitive information regarding the DPO, the DPCM must invervene and remove them from office while also dispelling all rumors of the DPO.

Their Control

Council members believe they have complete control over the DPO since the founder of the DPO is considered dead. So, the council members run the DPO as though they are the government. All their choices are considered final.

Benefits

A member of the council doesn't have to worry about stepping onto the battlefield, else they wish to do so. This leads to rigorous training to stay in shape. Another benefit is they live in a luxurious style of life.

Grounds for Removal / Dismissal

Every ten years (whether it is the male or female term), new council members are to be elected in as the new council. Genders rotate every five years. The upcoming election in 2019 will be for the male council members.
Another way to get removed from office is to be show signs of corruption and greed, such as spending too much of the DPO's money for their own personal gain.
