Allcaille

Allcaille is a small village located by Clithar Cove along the south-western coastline of Tightland.
Originally built as a pirate's recluse, it was abandoned after the Antipiratic Enforcement of 48 EE, but has recently become repopulated upon the discovery of the great biodiversity that has since developed there.

Demographics

Although the village was initially inhabited by pirates and smugglers of many different kinds, its current population manly consists of marine scientists and bards, who are studying the various behavious of the complex habitat that makes up the cove.
There are a couple of other people who make a living there, such as captains and bosuns for taking people to the centre of the lagoon, as well as fishers, farmers and a few craftsmen who keep the operations running.

Government

There is no form of governance over this small village apart from the law, defined by the Book of the Crown's Justice.
Since the inhabitants share the same interests they are found to be fairly cooperative, and it is rare that an oad need come by to solve disputes.

Infrastructure

The only fixed infrastructure in the region is a lone trevy which also functions as a lighthouse.
It is primarily used to for receiving information on current affairs, but also to request scientific literature or other resources which are then sent via courier.
