House Hanover
The Noble House of Hanover is known for having a combination of transformative powers and new technology. Originally hailing from the eastern continent alongside House Blackharbour, they still maintain a close alliance with their old friends in that House.
Focusing in the field of Transmutation, many of the wizards of House Hannover have trained with artificers and druids in the name of mastery of form. As such they are proficient in the mechanical and the natural (though most choose to work in artificial creation over partnering with nature). All within their holding are skilled smiths and craftsmen who have forged masterwork quality objects that bend the laws of physics. However where metal and wood fail, they partner with House Blackharbour in binding denizens of the lower realms to power their machines. Out of necessity, because they work with the lower denizens, House Hanover has loose relations with House Aetius and relying on their wards.
Structure
House Hanover and it's vassals operate much like a scientific research organization. Each of the vassals under House Hannover have various specialties. Whether it's constructs, physics, or natural sciences, there is always something that hold their time and attention. But each house reports their success back to the scientist and crafters of House Hanover. The House in turn compiles them into the vast library in their citadel at PitchHallow (unlike one of the major cities under their command, like the various other Houses).

Public Agenda
Inside the workshops of PitchHallow, objects and crafts of immense power and thunderous speeds are produced daily. But unlike House Blackharbour, dedication to safety and understanding is heavily stressed. Containment is paramount to their success and they do not forsake this in terms of short term gains. Their technology has made them the foremost exporter of skyships in the Country. While other Houses can produce their own crafts, they are undoubtedly outclassed by House Hanover’s ingenuity.
To the public, House Hanover is known for an ethical pushing of boundaries. They crave new items and learning how to make them. It is this fact that many of the other Houses take advantage of.

Military
In terms of organic people, House Hanover has no standing army or police force. Though recently it has worked around this by crafting several new constructs capable of maintain peace or waging wars. These automatons, clockwork men, and warforged, are deadly combatants, but are quite costly to build, train, or program. But their durability makes them a terror on the battlefield, which House Odinson can attest to.

Foreign Relations
House Hanover first truest alliance is firmly held with House Blackharbour. They arrived in Halruaal together and carved out a spot for themselves in an area already established by the older Houses and Clan Oni. As such, many of the nobility and peoples between them have comingled and intermarried forming a deeply personal bond.
Still, with the other Houses, Hanover is reasonably liked (or perhaps not actively disliked) by everyone. Due to it's technological advancement and willingness to share them, House Hanover had fairly good ties with all the other Houses. Relations with House Aetius was decent for their access to wards and sharing techniques to improve them. House Odinson was favorably for the designs on on lightning crystals and improvements on offensive capabilities of the skyships. Clan Oni carefully crafted and traded technology for use in stealth and information gathering. House Romanos drew House Hanover's passion for education. House Kamose has always been universally respected for their tools in excavations and their ability to preserve of bodies. And House Udaku has always been friends what with their focus on the arts and harmony with nature.
Though with the advent of the civil war, relationships between House Aetius, Odinson, and Udaku have strained.
Innovation is the key to the Future
Like almost all the other Houses, gold is the currency of House Hanover. However, at the same time, knowledge of crafting, and services towards making new technologies are just as valuable as gold. In this, most of the citizens will primarily use the denominations in Silver and Copper or work as laborers in the workshops and forges.
The exchange rate for the gold is by a factor of ten: One Gold piece equals ten Silver Pieces. One Silver Piece equals ten Copper Pieces. On a much grander scale, those at the top of House Hanover can traffic in Platinum Pieces (a coin that is almost never seen by the common citizen). But they prefer to work with schematics and projects than with crude monnies. Still, one Platinum Piece is equivalent to ten Gold Pieces.
Overall Halruaal is technically run by the word of the First Archon of House Udaku and the combined laws enacted by the Magisterium's Imperial Senate. Yet under this, the Archon of Hanover has the responsibility of governing and deciding what happens in their land.
The legislative body of House Hanover resides with the lesser Senates of the three Major Cities: Ginniri, Lekos, and Vibina. These lesser senates are controlled by the vassal houses under House Hanover; However, they are heavily lobbed by the local guilds represented by the Congregation of Merchants. The Archons of House Hanover usually consent to the lesser senate's handling of the regional law, so long as it meets with safety requirements and doesn't unduly affect the populations general happiness. In theory, the Archon's understanding pushes the law, which is organized into codes and practices enacted by the Lesser Senate, and enforced by the vassals of House Hanover.
The lesser senates of Ginniri, Lekos, and Vibina have adopted various small boards of conduct review that act as judicial bodies. They are picked from the members of the senate and are rotated quite frequently. This practice is carries out in the regional towns and villages, this responsibility is shared between the local noble traveling senators (when one is needed). Granted the Nobles and Priests in the major cities can intervene and advocate for certain practices - which doesn't happen much - but the committees designed by lesser senates have the final say. This is true for all things save for Treason or Blasphemy, which the Nobles and Church handles exclusively.
