Mos Shuuta

Mos Shuuta is a small, mesa-topping city on the desert world of Tatooine. It spans across a number of rocky bluffs and includes The Peaks and The Dust, groups of squatters who try to survive around the base of the mesa.
Mos Shuuta is the home of Teemo the Hutt, a lesser nephew of Jabba. He seeks renown within the Hutt Cartel but is often lazy and frivolous in his machinations.

Government

Teemo the Hutt has complete and total dominance of the government although he rarely concerns himself with such matters. His majordomo, a Chadra-Fan named Daro Gorrta, handles most of the day to day operations of Teemo's Palace and Mos Shuuta.
On paper, Teemo is in charge of the Mos Shuuta Spaceport Command facility, but Overseer Brynn who was loaned to Teemo from Lieutenant Herkin is actually an Imperial spy. Herkin felt that spaceport command was too important of a function to leave to a Hutt.
The predominance of Mos Shuuta security forces are Gamorrean. They are led by a Gamorrean named Ruga. She is smarter than most of her species and twice as viscous. She has earned her position by never backing down and showing utter ruthlessness when needed. There are 20 Gamorrean guards under her direction and half a dozen security droids.

Infrastructure

Since it is on a mesa top, Mos Shuuta is fairly secure. There is only one land-based route to the top and it is guarded by the Mos Shuuta Electrogate Teemo keeps the gate closed and guarded at most times. He is very picky about who he lets into his city and often even more stringent about who he lets out. The gate is guarded by Gamorreans and security droids.

Minnau's Cantina is one of the few places in Mos Shuuta where one can relax with a drink. It is owned and operated by Rhylls Minnau, a Devaronian with a secret past.

Storylines

Salvage Mission: Initial run for our crew. A damaged ship crashes near Mos Shuuta. There is a mad rush to get there first and claim salvage rights. The PCs must contend with difficult environments, desert bandits and natural dangers, and how do things change when they find out that the vessel is an Imperial shuttle? Do they take the black box and risk retribution, or leave it alone? What happens when Lieutenant Herkin shows up in Mos Shuuta later to investigate?
Botched Delivery: The PCs are hired to deliver a number of crates to a desert outpost for a shady Kubaz named Trigo Terek. Little do they know, it is actually medical supplies and Trigo works for the Rebel Alliance.
Midnight Raids: people of the Dust are disappearing in the night as pirate group come and abduct them. Teemo the Hutt is culling the herd to introduce more slaves at his spice mines on Ryloth.
Droid on the Run: a malfunctioning Geonosian battle droid unexplicably appears on the streets of Mos Shuuta before shooting at people. It is a research project that escaped from the secret droid research facility in Gundrutt's Slagworks.
Pod Race Bounty Hunt: Trenon sends the PCs to Mos Espa for a pod race. He has learned that a particular bounty likes to attend the events. It would also be nice if they could win the pod race.
