Lieutenant Rhode Herkin (a.k.a. Titan)

Lieutenant Rhode Herkin is an Imperial officer who has some (not entirely legal) connections to Teemo the Hutt and is willing to put his troopers at Teemo's disposal when in Mos Shuuta. In the past, he freed Pash from Imperial containment and sent him to Mos Shuuta as a favor for Teemo.
Herkin, under the codename Titan, has recruited the player character Mil Sanra'Ara and the spaceport commander Overseer Brynn of Mos Shuuta as his secret spy network. He hopes to better understand the dynamics of Tatooine for his own personal profit and safety. You never know who might be plotting against you.
Herkin is part of Moff Kestren Balor's expedition to the Arkanis Sector as the Imperial Presence on Tatooine. He works hard to place himself at Balor's right hand. Herkin wants to be the man Balor calls on him in times of need to cement in own influence with the force, but Balor is not quick to trust him. Herkin understands that it is probably class dynamics that are preventing his ascension. Balor is old-fashioned in his belief that breeding is required for leadership.
Herkin is use to being overlooked. He has faced it his whole life. He comes from a working class background. His father was a miner. Herkin was able to work his way into college where he studied political philosophy but had to drop out due to excessive gambling debt accrued by his father. Herkin still hates gambling to this day because of it. He joined the military instead, trying his best to be a good soldier. He has seen less qualified individuals promoted above him due to connections and their family background, and this has made him bitter. Herkin has given up on the dream of making it big in the military and is focused on making it on his own. He uses his post for personal gain.
Herkin is friendly, smart, and brave, but also sadistic, self-centered and heavily mercenary.
Herkin loves podracing (he has become a good pilot because of it), but detests betting on it.
