Janus Dryk

Janus Dryk (pronounced, "Drake") is born and bred Outer Rim. He has spent his whole life here. He worked his way up in a shipyard, eventually earning enough to purchase his own ship, a YT-1300 freighter named the Kingfisher.
He started hauling freight but soon learned such practices aren't very lucrative. So he started smuggling less legal cargo.
On a routine trip to Tatooine, dust from a local storm blew into his intact valve causing the sublight engines to falter and burn out. The Kingfisher went down. Janus' broken body was pulled from the wreckage by a group of Jawas. They carried him across the desert, strapped to his communication disc. His left arm was heavily damaged. He tried to communicate with the Jawas but had no luck with it. Eventually, he was sold to Trenon Brask and began working at Boss Brask's Cantina to pay off the debt.
At the cantina, Lily Lo-Lorelei and Mil Sanra'Ara worked on his arm and were able to get it to heal up properly.
