Jory Undammuth
Jory Undammuth is a male goliath barbarian and member of The Undammuth Tribe from Mount Hotenow. He was briefly aligned with Conor McGregor and Herb Stoner, and they called themselves the Three Blind Mice.
Jory vs. Goat Lips
On Day 1 of the campaign (14 Tarsakh), Conor McGregor and Herb Stoner, acquaintances and regulars at Goat Lips in Neverwinter, were pulled into a fight between Jory and the rest of the staff at the tavern. Jory, while obviously drunk, stood up on the table where Conor and Herb were sitting and shouted to the patrons "Hey everyone, while you’re all here getting drunk, this place is hiring people to steal your gold! You all are being robbed!" Jory then threw handaxes toward the bar, one of them hitting and killing the bartender. The other guards looked at Conor and Herb liked they were on Jory's side, and combat began.
As Conor's first action, he threw a handaxe toward a guard near the bar, but he instead hit and killed one of the patrons. Herb also used ray of frost and magic missile in attacks on the guards, but he also for some reason decided to cast prestidigitation to cause a patron to soil his pants. The guards fought back, and one speared Herb and caused him to fall unconscious, but Jory killed the last remaining guard with his greataxe. Conor then stabilized Herb's wounds and brought him back to consciousness. The surviving patrons all escaped, but one wearing a hood (later revealed to be Quinner Knox, another employee of the tavern) slowly walked outside while keeping a close eye on Conor, Herb and Jory.
Jory then shouted "Let's go get the big guy," and he led Conor and Herb to the back hallway of the building. They detected a light source coming from under the door of the tavern's owner, Berrian Venhorn, and Herb cast prestidigitation to snuff out the light. A fog cloud came out of the doorway, then the door opened and a guard started running toward a back door. Conor tackled the running guard, and then three scorching rays then shot into the hallway, one causing Jory to fall unconscious and the other two missing Conor and Herb. While Herb stabilized Jory, three mirror image versions of Berrian appeared in the hallway.
The three versions of Berrian, in unison, said "Gentlemen, must we continue? Jory, you aren’t looking well. And of your new friends, only this one (Conor) seems to still have any fight left in him. Since you’re here, I can only assume that my men in the bar are dead. There had to be witnesses, yes? So, here you are, fugitives. I’ll let you live, and you can then go and try to not be arrested, on one condition: you leave Neverwinter, and you never come back. And I’ll know if you do come back. Jory, you know that’s true. I have my ways. So, what will it be? You die here tonight, or you leave and never come back. Which one will it be?"
Before they could answer the offer, the hooded figure that appeared in the tavern area fired an arrow at one of the Berrians, connecting and causing the mirror image to disappear. Combat broke out, as the hooded figure joined the others against Berrian and his guard, but the true version of Berrian escaped out the back door. The guard, who had fallen unconscious during combat, died shortly after. The hooded figure then revealed himself as Quinner, and he and Jory then referred to a previous conversation they had. Quinner reminded the group that witnesses got away, and the Neverwinter Town Guard would arrive soon. He told the group he had a room at the nearby Firestorm Inn, and he led them there to rest.
Gundren's Job Offer
On Day 2 (15 Tarsakh), Conor McGregor, Herb Stoner and Jory Undammuth decided to visit the Purple Blade while Quinner Knox tracked down a male dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker. While at the shop, Herb purchased a shield for himself and a set of hide armor for Jory.
The group then went with Quinner to a nearby tavern called the Exclusive Hag to meet Gundren. They saw Gundren's horse wearing a gold saddle, then they went inside the tavern to talk.
