Gorian
Gorian is a member of the Ossan National Guard stationed at Watchhouse #187. He is a short, frog-faced man in his forties. He wears the national guardsmen's tight gray uniform with auraglass buttons and a narrow-brimmed bearskin hat. Like many other national guardsmen, Gorian works for hire for a guild-family, specifically the Vorcien, which is indicated by the sky-blue client paint on his left pinkie nail.
STORY
Gorian is sent by the Vorcien to tell Kissandra Vorcien that her father wants to see her. She enlists Gorian's help in her investigation into Adriana Grappo's death by having him look into the Glass Knife Fulgurist Society. He discovers a member list, which he gives to her in exchange for the story behind her failed romance with Baby Montego.
Despite the Ossan National Guard being mobilized to fight in the war against Grent, Gorian tries to dress smartly in order to get chosen to stay behind and guard the guild-families' interests. Kizzie calls him a weasel for such a ploy, to which he responds that he is her weasel.
As per Kizzie's request, Gorian also finds the Tall Man, who pays Gorian to set up a meeting with Kizzie. He invites the Tall Man to meet with her at Watchhouse #187. Unfortunately, the encounter ends with the Tall Man threatening Kizzie. When Gorian tries to intervene, the Tall Man kills him. Gorian's horrific death prompts Kizzie to finally go to Montego for help in her investigation.
