Rekfas

The Betrayer, The Flame that cuts through Darkness, The eternal Flame, Sealkeeper

Rekfas is one of the first deities. He came into being early during the Dawn of Gerandia, and was involved in creating the world. As one of The Great Dragons, he is also one of the original Principal Deities.   He was the original guardian watching over, and protecting Gerandia, the seal, locking away the Darkness, before turning on the other Dragons, and after a drawn out fight, was imprisoned on a prison plane in the Void Beyond. Rekfas is responsible for the death of Darag.

History

Early History
Rekfas was present for most of the creation, and aided in it. He is often credited with creating the fires of what would later become the Abyss and Hell, that allows the other Dragons to defeat the Darkness. He was then tasked with protecting and watching over the seal on his own, while the other dragons explored the Universe.   He eventually turned on the other dragons. During the ensuing battle, he killed Darag, before being defeated and imprisoned. This marked the start of the Age of Divinity.

Appearance

Dragon
There are two distinct looks to the dragon form of Rekfas. Before his Fall, the scales covering his body were black at the base, transitioning into a bright glowing red and orange towards the tip, making it look like his body was covered in glowing embers. After his fall, the glow vanished, leaving his scales a dark black, without any colors breaking it up. His eyes are of a burning, deep red.
Humanoid
Before his imprisonment Rekfas would occasionally wander Gerandia in a humanoid form. At that time he most often took the shape of a middle aged man of average height, with the head of a dragon, and a body covered in dark scales.

Personality

Rekfas is impulsive and unpredictable. He grew jealous and envious of the other Dragons while he was watching the Seal. He resents the other Dragons, for denying him the same opportunities they had, while he was stuck on his duty as a guard and watcher.
