Aeondir
Aeondir is one of the first deities. He came into being early during the Dawn of Gerandia, and was involved in creating the world.
As one of The Great Dragons, he is also one of the original Principal Deities.
Aeondir is the original Keeper and Guardian of Time, and was the only Dragon with direct control over the flow of time, until Liora managed to steal that Secret from him.
He also watches over the souls of every living thing, guiding them towards their birth, or their final resting place after death, respectively
Aeondir is the Guardian of Cosmic Order and Balance. Neither Chaos, nor Law are allowed to dominate.

History
Early History
Aeondir was present for most of, and aided in, the creation of the world. He is often credited with setting in motion the flow of time. He also created the Eternal Spire, as his realm. At some point Liora is said to have snuck into the Eternal Spire, and successfully stolen the secrets of how to control Time. Aeondir has held a grudge against her ever since.Dealings with Mortals
Aeondir rarely if ever interfers with mortal dealings, instead keeping a watch over all of time and space. Aside from it's status as the seal keeping the Darkness locked away, Gerandia is just a planet like any other to him. As such he was one of the deities who advocated against taking action to prevent Gealag from impacting on Gerandia. His reasoning for this stemmed largely from not wanting deities directly interfering with the natural order of the universe. As the asteroid was a natural event, acting on it, would set a bad precedence and encourage more and more acts of divine intervention, rather than leaving the universe to it's natural flow. Despite this, he didn't see saving Gerandia as a bad thing that had to be prevented either, and did not interfere with Liora's and Greada's efforts to aid the people living on the Planet.Appearance
Dragon
In his natural form Aeondir takes the form of a black and midnight blue scaled, dragon, with blue stars for eyes. His body is sprinkled with burning stars, and nebulous patterns, giving the impression as if one was looking at a clear night sky given the shape of a Dragon.Humanoid
On the rare occasion Aeondir appears to someone in a humanoid shape, he usually presents as a vaguely humanoid entity, wearing a long, dark blue, star sprinkled robe, with his blue eyes shining bright from under the hood. A careful observer would notice, that there is no physical body below the robe.Personality
Aeondir is serious, and dutiful. He cares a lot about the universal balance, and tries to maintain it to the best of his ability. Unless something or someone is violating the laws of existence, he is extremely hesitant to interfer with any mortal business. Most of his time is spent watching the time stream, and protecting it from damage or manipulation. While he does not have a preference towards either chaos or order, so long as they are in balance, he does not get along well with some of the chaotic deities. His relationship with Liora is especially strained, due to her disregard for rules, impulsiveness, and recklessness.Church of Aeondir
Temples & Shrines
Temples to Aeondir can be found in most larger Cities. Some of them double as Observatories. The interior is often decorated with imagery of the night sky and stars. The church of Aeondir is often tasked with overseeing and performing funeral services, with his clerics asking for him to watch over the deceased's soul on it's journey to it's final resting place. The parents of newly born babies, often seek guidance from his priests, asking for a glimpse as to the future and fate that might await their child. His priests often act as record keepers as well, writing down and documenting History as it happens.Divine Domains

Divine Symbols & Sigils
Aeondirs holy symbol is a balanced scale, with the arms being an open infinity sign. The left arm is surrounded by vines, leaves and plants, while the right arm consists of stylized bones, with skelettal hands and arms grasping onto it
Holidays
The first and last day of each year are holidays, celebrating the continuance of cosmic order.
The day of a full moon, as well as the day of a new moon, are similarly considered special, and important ceremonies will often be held on one of these days.
