Steam Knights

The Steam Knights are an order of elite paladins dressed in full metal suits of armor that use steam-based technology. They are sworn to uphold the faith of the Gods of Time and Order and often act as personal bodyguards of The Metropolites and other high ranking officials of The Order. Some of the more zealous ones have chosen to become inquisitors.
It requires recommendations from two existing members of the order to become a knight-in-training, so usually only members of renown families are able to enter the knighthood. The training to become a Steam Knight is intense and taxing, and besides being physically fit, the members have to adhere to a complex set of chivalric oaths. Rumors also say that Steam Knights are magically and technologically enhanced to survive in their mechanical suits.
The Hallowed Halls, acting as the headquarters and training facilities of the Steam Knights, are located in the state of Parcivale. The current Grand Master of the Halls is the brass dragonborn Iustus Fortius Eclecia.
