Galleston

Galleston (gall·es·ton) is a province of the Kingdom of Gararden⁣. It is one of the original provinces of the kingdom and is part of Hearthlands region.
Its capital, Trader's Marsh, is a major trading hub catering to almost every kind of overland trade from Gararden's eastern neighbours. The constant ebb and flow of workers and craftsmen has given Trader's Marsh a distinctive cosmopolitan flair. This feeds the notion that folk from Galleston are knowledgeable and tolerant - though that might only be true of Trader's Marsh and its nearby towns.
This constant flow of people and resources through the province makes Galleston one of Gararden's wealthiest provinces which, in turn, makes the Meyer family that has governed it for the past two centuries equivalently wealthy.
Its current governor, Erasmus Meyer, is seen as more interested in foreign cultures than his own province. It’s agreed that he has been riding on the coattails of his predecessors for quite some time.
