Walrus

The great tusked walrus looms over the frigid shores, its thick blubber shielding it from the cruel northern gales. With deep, knowing eyes and a voice like grinding ice, it barks across the tundra, commanding both respect and wariness. These behemoths gather in sprawling herds, their ivory tusks used for defense, dominance, and carving through the frozen seabed in search of shellfish. Hunters prize their hides for warmth and their oil for lanterns.
