Syndicate
There are different tiers of the members of the guild.
If a thief only steals for themselves then they are not welcome.
If a thief steals for others, to feed friends family or neighbours for instance, they may receive an invitation to the syndicate.
Once a member, you must sell to the fences within the organization or else you get fined.
You will be fed and taken care of. If you need your family to be included in your cut then you must be willing to do higher risk jobs.
Most money is kept in a communal bank where legitimate bankers work underground.
They manage all members and ensure no one is cheated.
If you are of a lower tier then another member, you must share information with them. If they ask for a lead on your job, you must give it to them. If it is found that you did not reveal all the necessary information then you could be fined, stripped of your membership, have your tongue removed, be given a face tattoo or receive a death warrant. There are 6 tiers of thieves.
The Syndicate is an organized group of thieves operating from the sewers under Skygarde. The Grandmaster is the leader who handles the contracts. While the thieves don't have any specific ranking system like the High Guard or the Magi Guild, if you are more notorious, then you outrank, simple.
The Ghost is the leader and founder of the guild.
Tamara is the trapmaster.
Watcher brews toxins that help the thieves.

Fuller - Recruit - Small Jobs
Gibbous - Member - Maybe invited to heists
Quarterly - Experienced - part of a team
Cresteer - Boss - lead a team
Olgnew - Master - can complete a job alone. Can gather a team at any moment. Only is told what to do by Abyssal
Abyssal - Grandmaster. Can compete any task a team could do. Best there is. Sets targets for bosses to hit. Keeps track of all current jobs in the city. Usually will be the first contact with new members. Sometimes gives task to an Oldenew if their schedule is too busy. Will test the merit Fullers before they are granted a Gibbous title.
