The Liberty Squadron's base
I'd dreamed countless times about seeing the inside of the Liberty Squadron's base. I had the model at home and I'd watched the "authorized behind the scenes tour" video so many times I practically wore out my keyboard poring over every tiny little detail you could see in the background. The Squadron was the premier superteam of Faraday City—heck, of the entire world—and now that I was actually inside I could hardly contain my excitement.The primary base of operations for the Liberty Squadron is a sprawling complex located in downtown Faraday City. More than just a base for its members, it also boasts a significant support staff and is a marvel of technology. The Squadron makes a show of it being visible to the public, and offers VIP tours, and highly-controlled "behind the scenes" videos of their operations. However, it also boasts security measures that would make a secure government facility envious.

Teleportation Portal -
This device allows for instantaneous travel from one place to another
over great distances. It apparently requires a companion device on the
receiving end. Promethean used this device to transport himself and
Prodigious Girl from the Liberty Squadron's base to Fortress Prometheus
on Promethean Isle, his hidden sanctuary, a location 1400 miles away
from Faraday City. Logic suggests that this is in some way connected
to the Warp Space "warp lockers," but it is unknown if this is the case,
or if there are any limitations on its usage.

Denizens
Although some of the team may maintain residences in the base, the vast majority of the people inside are the support staff who support operations within around the clock. However, to minimize the potential for human casualties in the event of an attack, many of the day-to-day functions are handled by OverC/R, the artificial intelligence who supports the team.
Defenses
The base is a tempting target for the Squadron's many enemies, and its location downtown could potentially put many innocent lives at risk. As a result, the base has a wide variety of defensive measures, and takes no chances when it comes to the approach of unexpected metahumans. For instance, any unauthorized approach by a metahuman is met with hulking automated Defense Bots and a holographic projection of OverC/R (the AI Squadron's AI assistant) who assesses the intentions of the new arrival.
The interior defenses are presumably equally robust.
