Personal history
Savri, along with her sister and her two brothers, was raised by both her parents to survive in the wilderness and to protect the refugee village from pirates and dangerous beasts. Though her mother was an elf, Savri rarely met other elves, and grew up almost exclusively around humans.
In 1489 DR, a green dragon established itself in the region of Savri's village, and began poisoning crops in the region, and devastating the ecosystem with its voracious appetite. This led to a famine in which many people died, including Savri's younger brother. The situation continued to worsen until a group of Harpers, led by a halfling sorcerer, ambushed the dragon and slew it.
Savri was immediately enamoured by the Harpers, and joined the group when they left the village, hoping to prevent what happened to her brother and village from happening to others. She was trained as a scout and spy, and has assisted her fellow harpers on several missions up and down the Sword Coast, eventually ending up in Baldur's Gate. Despite her training, she has had difficulty adapting her knowledge of the outdoors to new environments, and generally needs to spend some time adjusting to new locations.
In 1492 DR, Savri was assigned by the Harpers to aid Syndra Silvane in a quest. That quest turned out to be finding and destroying the Soulmonger in order to stop the Death Curse. Savri and her party traveled to Chult, where they spent one and a half months searching the jungle for the lost city of Omu. They eventually found it, and braved the Tomb of the Nine Gods to reach its bottom. There, they discovered the arch-lich Acererak and his unborn god - an atropal. With the aid of the trickster gods of Omu, they defeated the lich and destroyed the Soulmonger.
Following the events in Chult, Savri was promoted to the rank of Brightcandle. She continues conducting Harper busines across the Sword Coast.
