Council of Waterdeep

The Council of Waterdeep was a deliberative body and alliance assembled in 1489 DR, created to oppose the Cult of the Dragon. After Harper agents and independent adventurers discovered the Cult of the Dragon's plot to summon Tiamat, a summit was called between notable factions and cities along the Sword Coast. This later developed into the Council of Waterdeep, which went on to successfully oppose and defeat the Cult of the Dragon at the Well of Dragons.
