Lord Dagult Neverember

Lord Dagult Neverember is a human man, current Lord Protector of Neverwinter, and leading member of the Lords' Alliance. Following the eruption of Mount Hotenow and the near-destruction of Neverwinter, Dagult led the New Neverwinter to take control of the city and proclaim him 'Lord Protector'. Although he ruled as an autocrat, he invested much of his personal wealth into rebuilding the city. In 1479 DR, he also managed to become the Open Lord of Waterdeep, effectively becoming the most powerful man on the Sword Coast. Although he spent some years rebuilding Waterdeep from its own devastation, his interest was far more focused on his hometown of Neverwinter, and wasn't particularly liked in the City of Splendors. In 1489 DR, he was a member of the Council of Waterdeep as the lead representative for the Lords' Alliance.
