Fallot (FAL-itt)

Overview

Nestled in the Hills of Sonder is the third-largest city in the country, Fallot. The population is mainly composed of humans, in part due to a rigid immigration policy. Gloves are illegal due to the Kintoki practice of hiding extra fingers with them. Magic use is discouraged in favor of promoting trade and craft— or possibly, because it’s difficult to manage. The main exports of Fallot are livestock, grain, and textiles.   The interior of the city walls is a network of complex canals, used for transport of people and goods throughout the city. Classes are kept separate, with little ability to cross into one another's canals.    That's not to say it's all bad in Fallot. As long as you're a lawful good human with nothing to hide and no interest in asking any questions, you can enjoy the city's many amenities. It has a large and (somewhat) thriving middle class.

Leadership

The city is governed strictly by a council of four humans, the Tetralogy of Fallot. This council consists of:
  • Pulmon Stenosi. Originally from Kintok, he is the narrow-minded immigration minister responsible for much of the discrimination found here.
  • Ventrificus Septus De’Fet is the diplomatic (if a bit pretentious) trade minister. He often pushes his fellow council members to be more open to outside cultures, though purely for monetary reasons.
  • Riven Hyperion. Every group of tyrannical men needs its muscle; Riven is theirs.
  • Ovrit Yorta provides the city with a welcoming and sickly sweet “head of hospitality." Though you may not actually be welcome in Fallot, he sure will try to make you feel as if you are.
