Styx - The Mistress of Blood
Styx is the Goddess of Blood and Hatred, she is also the patron of Hemomancers, the first Vampire and the enforcer of Oaths.
Styx is a graceful yet spiteful deity, festering hatred for almost everyone. She is the primary consort of the God Asmodeus and mother of the Archdevil Glasya.
Styx is the personification of one of the Rivers of the Underworld, alongside Acheron, Kokytos, Lethe and Phlegethon, with Styx being the most powerful of the five. She was ascended above her siblings after Khronos rewarded her by making the River Styx, and therefore Styx herself, the agent of Oaths which bound even the Gods. What the reward was for is unknown.
Styx is also one of the caretakers of the Underworld, assisting Hades and Persephone in the management of the Lands of the Dead. Styx is mainly responsible for protecting the Underworld from outsiders and preventing souls from escaping, she also has a hand in dealing out damnation in the Fields of Punishment.
Styx is also responsible for enforcing oaths, from the Stygian Oaths to simple blood oaths. Styx is said to hunt down and punish oathbreakers, usually through a painful death.
Because of her association with the Underworld and death, Styx is usually only referred to by epithets, such as “The Hateful One” and “The Mistress of Blood”, as to avoid invoking her and drawing her attention.
Styx is not worshipped outside of specific cults. Though many invoke Styx out of hatred or when making oaths.

Apperance
Styx is exclusively depicted as feminine, commonly as a middle aged beautiful figure, usually with long, free flowing blood red hair and eyes, fangs and dark brown skin. She is usually depicted nude and sometimes with bat-like wings and adorned with jewellery.
