Baron Arbron

Background and Role in Our Story

Descended directly from Julia Arbron, the adopted daughter of the Dwarf Arbron, who established the Mines of Arbron in 24VD, Baron Layla Arbron runs the town of Arbraith. Standing surprisingly short, it's often been wondered by locals and genealogists alike whether there is some Dwarven blood in the Arbron line. Baron Arbron is a leader and noble but also spends much of her time as an astute businesswoman, keeping the Mines profitable and ensuring lines of trade are working.
Our heroes met Baron Arbron when they cleared out the Mines of Arbron, explaining to her what had happened and how Hypsile had flooded them as a result. She thanked them for their help and offered some jobs to any dragonborn refugees from Thrantium that might be knowledgeable or capable of mining work. 
Later on, the bonk squad encountered Baron Arbron at Count Merillion's ball, where Vyth Aar saved her from an encounter with the boorish Lord Gallard. The two then shared a dance together and Baron Arbron promised to support the heroes in their endeavours to further the cause of the dragonborn refugees and make all aware of the threat that the fey posed to Viseria and the world. 

Appearance

Layla Arbron has blonde hair that she wears down. Normally dressed in a fur-rimmed cloak and practical leathers, she's prepared to host a meeting of Lords or venture into a collapsed mine-shaft. Baron Arbron is surprisingly short, perhaps due to some dwarven blood in her lineage.

Personality

Likes and Dislikes

Baron Arbron likes to get her hands dirty with physical activities, herself being a keen stonemason. The mines and the town hold a special place in her heart. 
Baron Arbron dislikes the niceties and expectations of court life, often feeling that she stands out as inelegant and misplaced. 

Personality quirks

Baron Arbron can be quite quiet and reserved but will speak openly once she's comfortable with a person. She uses her engraving and carving to calm her down.
