Mechanical Lancer

The Mechanical Lancer is a small continuous track landship utilized by the Kuastan military for fighting other mechanized cavalry. The Lancer is a low to the ground rectangle with enough room for a pilot, engineer, and little else. It is deployed alongside other cavalry units as deterrence. The Mechanized Lancer uses it's adamantine bulkhead to ram mechanized units at high speeds.

Power Generation

A steam rotor engine sits in the front of the vehicle.

Propulsion

The steam rotor engine powers the wheels, which sit on continuous track. Under extreme circumstances, the vehicle can survive without track so long as it is on a road.

Weapons & Armament

The Mechanized Lancer is equipped with a device that is a lance in name only. These adamantine blades are welded directly into the box nose of the vehicle and riveted in place by long tracks of steel along the inside. All of the weight sits in the front behind the stabbing protrusion, rendering the small vehicle capable of punching holes in even strong armor so long as it is moving at sufficient speed. On occasion, the vehicles are fitted with a grenado arm.

Armor and defense

High mobility means less armor. The Mechanical Lancer is lightly armored save for steel plating over critical systems.
