Confederate 3A2T
Armored and Amphibious Troop Transports are heavy landships designed to carry companies of soldiers over hostile aquatic terrain, specifically the many rivers of The River Kingdoms. While slow, the heavy armor and high walls of these box-like vehicles protect soldiers from arrows and other projectiles. While not capable of fast turns, quick movement, or extended use, the 3A2T is the ultimate defensive landship.
Power Generation
The 3A2T is one of the first examples of exclusively magical vehicles, which is to say that all movement and power is provided by mana batteries.
Propulsion
On land, 3A2Ts use armored, spiked wheels to move. In water, the wheel wells move like fins to provide forward propulsion.
Weapons & Armament
The top deck of the two-tiered vehicles usually have a firing platform on either side outfitted with arcane cannons. However, the limited ability to turn means that a shot has to be lined up perfectly, and the cannons are rarely effective against all but the biggest, slowest targets.
Armor and defense
3A2Ts are plated in pure iron, with walls that are three meters tall. Often described as "coffins" or "snuffbox" by Confederate soldiers, the claustrophobic design actually does it's job tremendously well, which is deflecting mundane projectiles. The four-inch iron plating is capable of even ignoring a catapult's stone.
