Mobile Armory
Mobile armories are small landships not designed for troop travel, rather to carry large amounts of weapons and armor so that it's assigned company can move great distances carrying less weight, leading to less exhausted soldiers. When not carrying their exterior load of shields and spears, the ships are essentially woven falseiron outfitted with hundreds of hooks and straps. The interior is large and full of modular chests to carry food, water, and personal chests for individual soldiers.
Propulsion
A series of small windsails pull the ships forward, though in unfavorable conditions they are often pulled by oxen. The interior storage bay has room enough for four operators that move the sails about to catch optimal wind.
Armor and defense
Though the falseiron mesh provides protection from traditional weapons, mobile armories are at the mercy of other vehicles, particularly those designed for inter-vehicle warfare. When covered in traditional bronze shields, the exterior plating functions much like scale armor on a much larger scale.
