Dragon Queen Mercedes de Luna-Cimil (a.k.a. Howling Wolfhound)
Third child and second daughter of house de Luna. Very impulsive and emotional, prone to crying both when happy and sad. Loyal to her family and friends to a fault. Always been seen as little more than a delinquent and wastrel, drinking wine with her gang and fighting with other young nobles. Recently risen to prominence after she was given the title of Sheriff of Alldris and solved the murder of former Prince-Mayor Acton "The Hammer" Skalich, pinning the murder to the newly arisen Phoenix Cult.
Been a staunch and outspoken opponent against the cult ever since, and gained both fame and infamy during the intense summer since the war started. Also widely known as one of the finest duelists in Teutoni after her duel against the Bull, another legendary duelist whom she killed in a duel on a plaza in Alldris in front of an audience of hundreds, earning her the nickname "Wolfhound". Often later extended to "Howling Wolfhound" due to her being seen crying all the time.
Also suddenly rose to the rank of Queen after a spontaneous and very controversial marriage with the Dragon Queen Yum III Cimil.

History
Although basically leading figures for opposing sides in a civil war, Mercedes and the Phoenix did get along fairly well when Mercedes gave herself up as a hostage in return for the Phoenix using her healing powers to save Virginia Cindrii from near certain death from an infected gun wound.
Third child of House de Luna in Alldris, one of thirteen houses of high nobility. (In)famously emotional. Extremely loyal to her friends and family. Also one of the lands best duelists.
