Youngest child of Castor "The Jester" Cindrii. Has been mildly sheltered under her protective brother Cassius but wants to be a warrior. Started to train fencing under Mercedes de Luna (whom she is also, at the time secretly, in love with) which was fine with her family.
It was less fine when she went AWOL and followed Mercedes on a month long journey to the front of the war against the rebellion, to the Siege of C'trien. It almost led to a blood-feud when Virginia was near mortally wounded, but that was averted when Mercedes took extreme means to get her healed by taking her to The False Phoenix in return for Mercedes also becoming the Phoenix hostage. It also almost led to Mercedes and her then girlfriend now wife Yum III Cimil to break up after Virginia kissed Mercedes after a late night fencing lesson under the full moon.
