Village of Sojarr
A small village that lies at the trade intersection between Crook Crag, Castle Sirather and Bergen.
While it is considered neutral, it is widely considered by Castle Sirather and Bergen that the guilds control the council of elders who rule the area. The guards of the village make sure that no trouble erupts between the various traders but it is suggested that the Incretes Guild has managed to win some of their allegiances.
Demographics
Most of the population of the village is human but there are some Tenedris dwarves who have fled here after escaping slavery.
Government
A council of 3 elders are the leaders of the town.
Defences
There are 20 standing guards in the town. Captain Sigmon leads them but he does not trust all of his men.
Industry & Trade
Trading food to Crook Crag is one of their most profitable businesses, even with the steep tariffs the guilds exact.
Infrastructure
Many farmers reside here but it is also a hot spot for traders and performers to stop by.
History
In the year 437, on the 1st day of the Red Moon, a mysterious lake appeared and swallowed up the northern section of the town. A group of adventurers, The Eye of the Identifier, came to the village to solve it. After rescuing Sebastian, son of Priestess Kala, they journeyed to the bottom of the lake where they they found a city of Umizu "Merfolk" and their leader, a Spirit named Levith. There was a magical artifact that Levith controlled that allowed them to teleport his domain to different planes of existence; the Astroglobe of Dimensions. The party used this to teleport the strange lake to Crook Crag and submerge part of the city.
