The Rambunctious Revel
A tavern that is located in the section of Crook Crag that is controlled by the Darzeer Guild. While it is in their territory the guild does not own the tavern nor has any power over it. The owner, Killian Rullen pays a fee to the guild in order to operate without any influence from them.
It is known as a tavern where music or shows are constantly occurring. Bards come from all of the realms in order to get a chance to play here. Often the dancing that occurs can cause the floor shaking to be noticeable a few blocks down.
Purpose / Function
To provide a safe haven for non-affiliated people to enjoy the comforts of a tavern.
Alterations
A second floor was built in 421 once the owner realized she need more space for her guests to enjoy privacy. She made them balconies that overlook the second floor where the music is being created and the dancing occurs. These were meant to be quieter places to overlook the revelry but they soon became just as loud as the first floor.
Killian is attempting to buy the building next door in order to provide rooms for guests who travel to the tavern. It is currently being blocked by the guild who does not want to lose the money from their gambling halls that also work as taverns.
Architecture
Wood is mostly used in the construction of this building, but Killian is considering upgrading to stone foundation to help deal with the noise.
Defenses
Killian keeps an entourage of 6 bouncers, all trained warriors, who deal with any problems that may arise.
Tourism
Young people come from all over to say they have attended an event at this club.
