Full Moons Fete

Ereza's two full moons, Allurna and Eyna, kick off two weeks of celebrating Summer and nature, ending on the longest day of the year. The Fete takes place during the Bear Moon (8/13-8/24). The god Gen is associated with this holiday.

Celebrated Deity

Gen, Green Skin, is the God of nature and the elements. The twelve days of celebration focus on nature based activities including scavenger hunts, rock painting, fishing contests, bird and bug watching, stargazing, bonfires, obstacle courses, outdoor cooking, and more.

Nature Based Activities

Rock Painting is usually done early in the holiday. Powdered or strained pigments are added to a mixture of flour and water and used to paint small stones. The stones can be gifted, or hidden to surprise celebrants as they are found throughout the celebration. 
Additional crafts include:

• Bird houses
• Wind chimes
• Pressed flowers
• Felting

Secular Celebration

There are no temples to Gen in Pelee. Pelesians recognize that the God exists, but they do not make offerings or prayers to Him. However, their aversion does not extend to celebrating the holiday, and they do so with gusto- without any mention of religion.
Large fishing tournaments are held in both Cadence (freshwater) and Star Harbor (saltwater), with prizes that attract fisherpeople from all over.

Cooking outside is rule of the day- all 12 twelve days if possible!
