Eyna

Eyna is the larger, in the night sky, of the two moons that orbit Ereza.   This moon moves much faster than its nightly companion, Allurna, taking only 24 days to complete its cycle.   The people of Ereza divide their years among Eyna's cycles. Each cycle is named for the season:
1. Snow Moon (Winter) 9. Hawk Moon (Summer)
2. Ice Moon (Winter) 10. Stag Moon (Summer)
3. Budding Moon (Spring) 11. Sowing Moon (Autumn)
4. Flower Moon (Spring) 12. Ripening Moon (Autumn)
5. Blossom Moon (Spring) 13. Threshing Moon (Autumn)
6. Fruit Moon (Spring) 14. Harvesting Moon (Autumn)
7. Otter Moon (Summer) 15. Frost Moon (Winter)
8. Bear Moon (Summer) 16. Dark Moon (Winter)
It is considered to be a day of great power when Eyna's phase perfectly matches Allurna's. This phenomenon is celebrated eight times a year: at the New Moons, Waxing Crescents, First Quarter Moons, Waxing Gibbous Moons, Full Moons, Waning Gibbous Moons, Third Quarter Moons, and finally the Waning Crescent Moons. Each of the conjunctions have become associated with a specific deity, or deities, in the Seese Pantheon.
