Nanobots

The NanoBots that are capable of repairing degenerative cells is a major breakthrough. The previous versions of nanobots where designed to do a simple task (do it very well) but that made repairing cells impossible as there where many different types of cells. The A.I. that conducts the nanobots inside a human body makes a multi-purpose nanobot possible. The A.I. also decided to use tardigrades as a carrier framework was quite a leap forward. The United Empire of Earth military have now several kinds of medical solutions based on the tardigrade.
The military have suture, stitching, grafting and innoculation nanobots. They are researching several different types to help combat medics.
one specific use of nanobots is a full body armor suit, but the development is not there yet and progressing very slowly.

Utility

A patient has nanobots injected in a saline solution. The nanobots move themselves through the blood, controlled by the A.I., The nanobots are capable of changing cellular structures and only need energy and raw materials. A certain range of nanobots work as a conveyor belt with raw materials. In case of an emergency the surrounding material can be used. (this is slower, but it saves lives)

Manufacturing

nanobots are created in a bio chamber. It takes several minutes to generate a sufficient amount. (radiation speeds up the bio process)

debates on who is to credit are still continuing. The A.I.? the creator if the A.I. ? the software developer?
Access & Availability
The nanobots are available, but the A.I. that is used as a hive mind to operate and control them is hard to get.
Complexity
The nanobots are working in large quantitys and can only be controlled by the hive-mind like connection in Quantum Computer
the quantum technology is fast enough and enables the A.I. to communicate using Quantum Entanglement
Discovery
The discovery was done by the A.I. after investigating a rock with micro organisms (tardigrades)
