Birth of the Commonwealth

Several countries started with the Commonwealth, made to improve and maintain trade and diplomatic relations between its members. NATO, once a powerfull military organisation, merged with the Commonwealth, creating a large organisation encompassing many countries. Their military prowess is unmatched and their trade routes are well protected.

The trade laws are now simple and effective. There are no tax rules anymore between the member.

The organisation is lead by a council formed ith members from all nations. Theu are the most dominant global power and are therefore also the ruling force in dealing with extra terrestrial activities.

To help create and sustain a Commonwealth that is mutually respectful, resilient, peaceful and prosperous and that cherishes equality, diversity and shared values.

Mission

We support member governments, and partner with the broader Commonwealth family and others, to improve the well-being of all Commonwealth citizens and to advance their shared interests globally.

Security in our daily lives is key to our well-being. TCoN’s purpose is to guarantee the freedom and security of its members through political and military means.

POLITICAL - TCoN promotes democratic values and enables members to consult and cooperate on defence and security-related issues to solve problems, build trust and, in the long run, prevent conflict.

MILITARY - TCoN is committed to the peaceful resolution of disputes. If diplomatic efforts fail, it has the military power to undertake crisis-management operations. These are carried out under the collective defence clause of TCoN's founding treaty - Article 12 of the Seychelles Treaty or under a United Nations mandate, alone or in cooperation with other countries and international organisations.

Assets

As one of the richest organisations they show in many countries the TCoN presence is recognisable as a set of well defended buildings, with flags of all their members.
To uphold their status they have several communication arrays, global satellite coverage. Several divisions including military, strategic command and secret agencies. Race into Space TCoN is now the leading organisation with India as driving power. TCoN was the first organisation to join the "race into space", funding the first colonisation efforts of the planet Mars. Having the largest and most sophisticated tech available on Earth gave TCoN a huge advantage. Their first major step was building the Space Station Oedipus as a stepping stone into space.

History

1944 just before the end of the war five countries join up to make a commonwealth.
1949 the commonwealth gets a refresh and is now 8 countries.
1957 another 4 countries join.
1961 several smaller countries join, adding up tot a total of 26 countries.
1964 the USA joins
1966 India joins with some limitations
