Avariandorf

Avariandorf is the capital city of the Holy Platinum Empire and the largest city in Eastern Nythlaang. It is the seat of Imperial power, home to the Great College of Magic and the Temple of the Righteous Crusade.

Demographics

Humans, Halflings, Hill Dwarves and Dragonborn are all dominant cultures, Wayfarer Elves and Gnomes are minority cultures and the Serilian Elves, Ulandi Elves and Khajit all have enclaves in the city.

Government

Administration of Avarianburg is performed by an appointed Council. Appointees are nominated by Electors and chosen by the Emperor. Appointees must have lived at least six months in the city in the three years to qualify for nomination.
The five council members each have an assigned role to play in governing the city.

History

Avarianburg was the southernmost human and halfling settlement at the time that Saint Avaria launched her crusade. Consequently it became the mustering point for the crusade and grew exponentially as the Godless Host gathered, eventually being renamed in honour of Avaria after the army proceeded south. When Avaria decided it necessary to establish the Empire she chose Avarianburg as the capital for it's symbolism.
