Traveling cleric of knowledge and lore, she's rarely seen without a smile.
  I was born on the 34th of summer, year 1586 after Dragonfall. The day was blistering hot, as I recall, as my family rode in a caravan up through the deathly Scorched Badlands. We were coming up from Hrojynn, business ventures on mother's side, I believe. Father was always supportive of her choices. We arrived to Rivergate, parched, but alive- even the Grimhook gnolls let us pass. There, in Rivergate, we lived in relative peace for the next few years.
  Then came another venture, this time eastward, through Sahuatl. I didn't know the dangers, at the time, but, midway through the journey, when the aging carriage was set upon by selvaxi raiders. It all happened with a noisome rush; a terrible crash, and the splintering of wood. My vision was blurry, and I felt a firm arm bracing me close, before a splash of heat crosses my face. Screams, and yelling, were all I could make out. I was trembling, shaking, and then I found myself lifted into the air, out of the stuffy carriage, and out into the humid heat. In the sunlight, I recognized the chest I was held to, even marred with streaks of red- it was my father pulling me from the wreck, while a lanky spotted fiend attempted to crawl upon his back, curved knife raised above its head. Father swung an arm back, bashing the feline in the muzzle, and buying mother enough time to usher my siblings out of the carriage. Routed, and without shelter, my family made for Noar, running for our very lives.
  I don't know when it happened, or how, but we were separated, father carried me southward, while mother must have continued east. After... gods, I don't even know how long he ran, but I could hear the wheezes in his breaths, the tremble in his arms. His wounds, it turned out, were more severe than they seemed. It was inevitable that he would, but he set me down, and attempted to put on a stoic face, but I could tell his lifeforce was diminishing. I'd never needed to step up, but seeing his condition sparked something in me, and so, I ran ahead, climbed a hill, and scouted- just down the hill, there was a settlement, I thought, a place to hide, and recuperate. I turned back, and made to help him to the settlement.
  On arrival, we quickly discovered that... there was no one, the buildings were rundown, and falling apart. I gritted my teeth, as he led me to a small shack, and sat himself down. I didn't have much on me, didn't have any training on how to treat his wounds, so I paced the small room, tugging at my hair. So caught up in my thoughts was I that I wasn't watching my step. My foot caught on something solid, and the next thing I know, I was sucking in dust, face-down on the floor. Cursing myself under my breath, I turned to look what I'd tripped on, and felt confusion. A book? As I rolled over, and picked it up, I felt a rush of thought, of knowledge and anecdote, flooding through my mind, sending me tumbling head over heel backward. When I collected myself again, I saw my father, worried, and pained, looking over me.
  When the searing pain in the center of my skull subsided, I realized my palms felt... warmer somehow, while a voice urged me to reach out. Curiosity, and urgency gripped my thoughts, as I touch my father's shoulder. He flinched, and I watched, wide-eyed, and mouth agape as we both feel the pulse of energy. The voice, faint and distant, congratulated me, though I didn't know why until my father drew back- revealing that the wounds on his upper body had... sealed.
  After laying low for the afternoon, my father and I set out northward, in hopes of finding the rest of our family. I don't know how, even now, but it took us 5 years to reunite, and all of us turned up looking much worse for wear. Haggard, battered, but alive. We decided, as a family, to return to Rivergate, but via boat. We spent, then, another decade together, before our lives started to pull us in different directions, splitting the family, but this time more amicably. For my part, I packed up my things, and set out on a pilgrimage across Ukrenil, to unearth what I can relating to this book I tripped over. Met a ghostly dragonborn, thought my ale had been spiked with something, but, no, they were spectral, and bore three heads. Most peculiar. We spent an evening chatting, before my journey took me southward, on a carriage heading for Direfeld, just next door to my old home. This wolf, though... seems like she's got a story to tell, but no voice to tell it. Curious~
