Derala Keldral
Born from a chance meeting in the heart of Ailorasil, when the kleptomaniac thief tried to steal from the wrong dragonborn. She was taken to Telhoken at some point, where her thief mother attempted to get her signed up at the academy there, but, due to a combination of her not yet showing aptitude, and her unorthodox appearance, she was being declined entry. The gnoll necromancer, Tilkaz, happened upon them, however, and directed the thief to Mohr, an enchanter from Elimond.
At some point, The Darkest Dawn left Derala in the care of the gnolls, learning not only the fundaments of magic, but also empathy for those suffering, realizing that her gifts are to be used to help those in need, those suffering. In time, she withdrew into her studies, taking up a shack on the outskirts of town. While in isolation, as she studied the flow of magic, she picked up on a taint underlining the arcane energies.
