High Elves

High Elves is one of the longest-living sentient species and one of three Elves variations. They are known as the original elves since it is historically thought that the other two descended from them.

Because of their long lifespan, High Elves are known for being proud and slow pace to react. When they reach an advanced age, they biologically become like that. Since most of our physicians are held by elders or season vets, in most civilizations. Leaders and persons in positions of power are usually older, and even though they are very knowledgeable, they take their time reacting. As a result, when humans meet young elves, particularly adventurers. They are taken aback by how outgoing and responsive they are.

Knowing that High Elves can live for 600 years, they tend to learn or obtain a lot of abilities and knowledge over their life. This is also because they have a very excellent memory and as They get older, their patience improves and I'm able to perfect my crafts. As a result, everyone in High society appeared to be exceptionally good technological, magical, and skilled professionals. Now, because of their long life and outstanding memory, they tend to carry grudges and promises longer than other sentient species.

High Elves have light magic and resilience to light magic, but they are vulnerable to darkness magic. This represents roughly 70% of the species' population. As a result, the majority of their societies have mastered light magic and incorporated it into their kingdoms. Whereas many of their structures and architecture appeared to be in good shape. Their complexion and physical appearance appear to be influenced by their light magic origins.

With all of their talents, High Elves are capable of gradually changing the world. So, if someone of High Elves speaks to you, listen carefully and remember that they will remember you long after you have gone.

Basic Information

Anatomy

As a bipedal species, High Elves has ten toes, two legs, and two feet. They also have ten fingers and two arms. They are a medium-sized species with a round skull and two long and pointed ears on the side of their head. They have two eyes with circular pupils and irises, a nose, and a mouth for a face. Their body has very little hair on it. On top of their heads, they actually have decent-quality hair. They don’t grow facial hair.

    • Elven Immunities: Elves are immune to magic sleep effects and gain a +2 racial saving throw bonus against illusion spells and effects
    • Elvan Magic: Elves receive a +2 racial bonus on caster level checks made to overcome spell resistance. In addition, elves receive a +2 racial bonus on Spellcraft skill checks made to identify the properties of magic items.
    • Keen Senses: Elves receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.
    • Gift of Light: +5 damage resistance from magical Light and 5 weakness damage from magical Darkness

Genetics and Reproduction

A male and a female member of that species at the age of 200 to 400 are what conceive a new High Elves. Eleven months after the male fertilizes the female, a High Elves child is born. High Elves can only conceive a child at ages between 200 and 400 years old going for both genders. After their 400-year birthday, they seem not to be able to reproduce anymore.

Growth Rate & Stages

As one of the oldest life span species, High Elves are considered infants between the ages of zero to Six, during which time they were completely dependent on their parents for food and care. They gradually pick up mobility and world awareness.

The next stage is kids who learn, play, and grow between the ages of Seven to Fourteen. Although kids are not as dependent on their parents at this point, they are still present to meet the majority of their needs. However, young kids are inquisitive and beginning to understand others and themselves. These kids also remember everything and will use it against you so be careful

Between the ages of 15 to 35, their bodies begin to evolve and develop into adults, which is referred to as the teenage years. Their physical body begins to gain figure, height, weight, and muscles. In most situations, this is also where natural magic develops. In most circumstances, they will also begin to establish their identity and become less reliant on their parents.

From the ages of 36 to 200, they are in their adulthood also called Bright years, their bodies have matured, and they have a good sense of what their natural magic will do. It will continue to develop as they age, but in most cases, it has a set of talents. This is also the time when they find what they want to do with their life.

Dawn Hood is a Special time for High Elves. The age range is from 200 to 400 years. This is the time when their High Elves bodies will allow them to reproduce. These are the years when high-Elves start families and their instincts to find a significant other and start a family are more stronger than usual. This instinct will not overpower their identity or desires but rather make some of what they are attracted to more visible to them and the want for a family more appealing.

They are elders between the ages of 400 to 600, often known as their Twilight years; their bodies have gradually begun to slow down and become weaker, as have their magical abilities if they are not kept up with. High Elves personalities grow more patient and mellow as well. They appeared to have lost some of their impulsiveness and desires. This is where the elf trope comes from. Their thoughts and personalities have changed slightly, with the person who is an expert at something not seeming to have the passion but still wanting to educate. This is not to say they don't have a passion; it's just that their minds have aged.

Ecology and Habitats

High Elves can live anywhere, but they like to establish civilizations in large open areas. It appears that they have an innate urge to view or feel the openness of the universe. The Kingdom usually expands out into troops and woods. High Elves make every effort to merge and collaborate with nature. To maintain the balance of ecosystems and other magical powers. This is where some people believe they are wood elves who desire to dwell in wood. Because of these two variations of Evles, many people believe that elves only reside in the woods.

Dietary Needs and Habits

High Elves are omnivores for species that need both plants and animals to survive. The body's got to eat the right amount of each type of vegetable and fruit meat and other products to keep their body healthy.  They don’t need to eat as much as some other medium sentient species because of their stained frame.

Social Structure

High Elves are incredibly social beings with several civilizations and kingdoms all over the Elema. The way they interact will differ depending on their geography and upbringing. Because of their long lifespan, High Elves like to share knowledge and become masters in one or several things knowing the ins and outs. This is why a lot of our leading experts are Elves. So their social structure is solely determined by tradition that survived from the fall of the first Kingdom as well as experiences, locality, and upbringing.

Elves have a long lifespan so with their great memory they are one of the most intelligent species. They value knowledge to the highest degree. They go out of their way to discover the secret of the world and how it works. They are one of the first that work with nature magic and science to enhance new technology for the world.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

High Elves has various sensory systems, and we will identify the five most important ones. First and foremost, they can see up to 2 miles of amazing detail. Their Eyes have several extra cones in them to take in more light. This enables them to see well in low-light conditions. They still need a little light to see. Their hearing is from 20Hz to 30kHz. With that High Elves species are in the can hear a little higher range. High Elves can use their scents of smell very well. It can pick up a million different smells, but it's not as beneficial as other sentient species. Limited in their processing and range. They possessed the sense of touch to help them identify their bodies and things in the world, both good and harmful. This sense tells you what has wounded them or helps them feel at ease. With their tall ear, they can also tell slight differences in the weather. Finally, High Elves is able to taste the five basic categories of sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami.
