Heifin Shannodell
Heifin Shannodell is a Thesséliasell herbalist most known for his contribution of his herb lightleaf to the forces of the surface during the Battle of Geldereth.
Heifin was born in the Thesséliasell town of Multhiri and lived there quietly, studying unofficially under his cousin, a wizard. When he was 20, Multhiri was destroyed by a red dragon. The violence and carnage scarred him and he vowed he would find a place that would be safe from any similar atrocities. He traveled, alone, for some years before he met a young adventurer seeking his fortune. His name was Meritas, and they became partners and eventually friends. Meritas received a parcel of land after a prestigious campaign which he began to develop into the village of Lightbrook when Heifin was almost 30. Meritas, or, as he became known, Lord Meritas Attwell the Youthful, passed away 40 years later and left the village to his only son, Lord Merek Attwell the Simple. Heifin resided in Lightbrook for 50 years before Lightbrook, too, was destroyed, this time by nightbringers of Mavislak the Blood-eyed as a part of the Eventide. Some months later, Heifin was rescued from slavery in Turaz-Gul by the Light Brigade, who coerced a drow wizard to teleport them to Saldim, Jeltir. Here Heifin stayed, becoming assistant to the wizard Egalarre Syvia and eventually opening a small herbalist's shop of his own.
